Cash-secured puts sound good in theory, but here's the reality check: most of the time—like way more often than you'd think—the stock you sold calls against rips higher. You're stuck watching massive gains evaporate while you're capped out. There's literally nothing you can do once you're locked in.

Unless your cost basis is insanely low and you're selling way OTM calls with super long expirations, just hold the shares. Keep it simple.
