On 4/9/2026, Robinhood Chain recorded the busiest day in its history with 14 million transactions, mainly from memecoins and tokenized assets. However, sending blob data to Ethereum was interrupted for 14 minutes, equivalent to about 8,400 blocks not yet posted. The sequencer kept running, but finality on Ethereum was stalled. Robinhood said the cause was Ethereum market conditions, not an internal infrastructure failure.

The incident exposed the gap between Robinhood Chain’s 100ms block production speed and Ethereum settlement capacity when the network is congested, even though TVL reached about $2.42 billion and there was no loss of funds.
