šØ RED ALERT: āCANCEL THE āORDERSāā TO TAKE MONEY ON P2P!
Many new Traders in Vietnam fall for a tricky scam: After you successfully transfer VND, the other party proactively chats saying āThe bank is faulty, they didnāt receive the money. Please cancel the order so I can transfer it back to you.ā
Panic makes the Newbie click āCancel Transaction.ā Immediately, the scammer cuts off contact, the P2P order gets closed, and your VND money will never come back! Once the order is canceled, the complaint process (Appeal) on the platform becomes extremely complicated.
š” āSTEEL RULESā TO PROTECT YOURSELF:
MONEY TRANSFERRED = ABSOLUTELY DO NOT CANCEL THE ORDER: No matter what excuse the other party gives.
Open an Appeal right away: If itās past the deadline and you still havenāt received the Coin, click the āAppealā button and upload the transfer Bill with a Ref ID so Binance Support can intervene.
One accidental click due to lack of Risk Management knowledge can cost you with your own cash!
š¤ Guys, should Binance add a feature to automatically lock the Cancel Order button once the buyer has confirmed the transfer? Comment your thoughts below!
