Safe P2P trading depends on following the principles below:
/ Stay on the platform: Do not redirect the conversation or payments to other apps such as Telegram, Zalo, or WhatsApp based on the counterparty’s invitations.
/ Match the account holder’s name exactly: The name of the bank account holder who receives/transfers money must match 100% with the real name verified via your counterparty’s KYC on Binance.
/ No third-party transactions: Absolutely do not accept money from another account or transfer money to any account other than the name of the trading party that matches the order.
/ Check the actual balance: If you are the seller, log in directly to your banking app to verify whether your balance has truly increased. Do not rely on screenshots (fake bills) or spoofed messages claiming balance changes.
/ Don’t press “Payment made” by mistake: The buyer must not confirm that payment has been made if they have not actually carried out the money transfer to avoid having the account locked or facing penalties.
/ Take advantage of the Escrow mechanism: Clearly identify the crypto funds that Binance holds in escrow. Do not release coins until you have received the full fiat payment, and do not follow fake system-unlock threats made to pressure you.
/ Prioritize merchants or users with a high number of trades (over 1,000 orders) and a high order completion rate (over 95%) in the most recent 30 days.
