SOL is like boiling noodles at night, and halfway through you notice the gas is running out—water is boiling, but you don’t dare keep it on high heat.

Price is 73.86. During the day it bounced from 72.36, but it capped out at 74.59. There’s heavy pressure overhead, and there’s no support from below.

There are three bullish signals: MACD keeps a long/bullish alignment; DIF is close to the zero line but hasn’t formed a dead cross; price is holding above the Bollinger middle band, and the bandwidth is only 2.2%, so the movement range isn’t large; MA5 (74.02) and MA20 (73.85) are nearly intertwined, meaning the trend hasn’t really broken down.

There are also two bearish signals: RSI at 46.9 is in a weak zone—if it can’t rebound strongly, it lacks momentum, which suggests the willingness to chase longs is low; volume is only 0.4x of the average—rebounds on low volume usually indicate insufficient push.

The most critical resistance is in the 77.06–77.5 area, a dense consolidation zone from earlier. If it bounces up here at night without increased volume, it’s very likely a false breakout. Support is at 72.36, the 24-hour low—if that breaks, there’s no room left to hold toward 72.54.

If the broader market suddenly sees BTC rally with a big volume spike, SOL will likely follow with one move, but it probably will underperform, because right now capital is more willing to sit in large-cap coins.

My plan is to wait for SOL to pull back into the 73.5–73.7 range. I’ll consider going long only after volume picks up to at least 0.8x of the average. I’ll set the stop-loss just below 72.3, and the initial target is around 77. In a low-volume market, the faster “next push” line often ends up coming back.

With this kind of tape, RSI isn’t cheap, and if there’s no volume, I’ll move less.

Wait for that bullish candle on confirmed volume before reaching in.
