Meta jumps 6% in a single day—once again, the AI sector has become the main engine driving the U.S. stock market.
This round of gains isn’t isolated: mega-cap tech stocks are reframing “AI capital expenditures” as a sustainable story. Compute orders, cloud revenue, and the monetization efficiency of ad recommendation models are all providing new footholds for valuation. As a representative that advances on two fronts—advertising and open-source models—Meta’s emotional repair and rebound elasticity is often stronger than that of its peers.
It’s also worth noting the implications for the crypto market:
- When traditional AI narratives heat up, on-chain AI sectors are typically the first to follow as the “beta”;
- If risk appetite in the Nasdaq rebounds, it can also help ease the macro pressure on BTC and ETH;
- But be careful with the timing—when TradFi leads the rally and Crypto follows, it often means funds haven’t truly rotated into altcoins yet. Chasing higher therefore requires tighter stop-loss discipline.
In the near term, I’m focused on whether the U.S. listed AI leaders can keep holding their ground, and whether relative strength in on-chain AI tokens moves in sync. As long as these two lines don’t diverge, the risk-on window hasn’t closed yet.
