C2FO and Ripple propose bringing invoices to XRPL: an initiative with a waitlist
On October 27, 2026, C2FO and Ripple announced an initiative to bring C2FO Instant Pay financing and settlement to the XRP Ledger, using the RLUSD stablecoin to settle payments.
The proposal aims to get commercial suppliers funded within seconds against approved invoices. The capital would be provided by participating financing providers; the invoices’ original terms and due dates would remain unchanged. Faster settlement does not mean changing the due date.
The announcement invites companies to join a waitlist. It therefore describes a proposed model, without demonstrating a broad rollout or any transaction volume already settled through this solution.
In a separate announcement on the same day, Ripple and BNY said they were exploring a supply chain financing initiative with C2FO. Tokenization would digitally represent commercial assets, such as accounts receivable, to broaden access for investors. That exploration also does not confirm a commercial implementation.
Market data: On October 27 at 23:56 UTC, XRP was trading at 1.3318 USDT on Binance Spot, up 1.618% over 24 hours. This is a market snapshot, not a measure of Instant Pay adoption.
Market perspective: Faster settlement can free up liquidity for companies, but it does not eliminate the risk of an invoice going unpaid or custody and stablecoin risks. The announcement also does not demonstrate proportional demand for XRP: the planned settlement currency is RLUSD.
