Binance expands RLUSD on the XRP network, opening new liquidity channels for traders.
Binance has fully integrated Ripple USD (RLUSD) into the XRP Ledger, opening up deposit access and expanding availability across Earn, Convert, Margin, and VIP Loan products, expanding the stablecoin's utility and accelerating RLUSD's penetration in the global crypto market.
Binance announced on February 12 that the integration of Ripple stablecoin on XRP Ledger has been completed, and deposits have been opened, while detailing additional trading features and products introduced in recent weeks.
In its latest update, Binance stated: “Binance has completed the integration of Ripple USD (RLUSD) on the XRP network (XRP Ledger). Deposits are now open. Withdrawals will be available once sufficient liquidity is available.” The update focuses on facilitating deposits through the XRP network, with withdrawals following once liquidity requirements are met.
In a previous announcement published in January, Binance first introduced spot trading of RLUSD on Ethereum, launched a zero-fee promotion for RLUSD/USDT and RLUSD/U, and expanded the token's availability across its yield products, conversion tools, lending features, and trading services. In the January 22 announcement, Binance stated: "Binance is pleased to announce that Ripple USD (RLUSD) will be added to Binance Simple Earn, 'Buy Crypto,' Binance Convert, Binance Margin, and VIP Loan on the dates and times listed below." The update detailed margin support for Cross Margin, Isolated Margin, and Portfolio Margin, as well as card purchase and balance conversion options immediately after trading begins. Ripple explained at the time: "This inclusion includes support for Ethereum, with XRP Ledger (XRPL) coming soon, and XRP/RLUSD and RLUSD/USDT trading pairs available on launch day."
Ripple USD is a US dollar-denominated stablecoin issued by Standard Custody & Trust Company, LLC, a wholly owned subsidiary of Ripple Labs. Each token is backed by at least an equivalent amount of US dollars and cash equivalents and is designed to facilitate cross-border payments and institutional settlements. Binance encourages users to implement prudent risk management strategies, notes that newly listed tokens may experience volatility, and directs traders to review updated margin data for collateral ratios, lending limits, and applicable rates as RLUSD liquidity on the XRP network evolves.

Honestly, who panicked yesterday when Bitcoin plummeted? That red-hot portfolio was truly heartbreaking. But today, the market seems to be breathing a sigh of relief as it's rebounding.
The question is, Is this really a reversal or just a Batman trap?

Speculation is growing that Binance founder, Changpeng Zhao (CZ), will soon return to the crypto exchange he founded. This rumor emerged almost two years after he stepped down in November 2023.

Crypto journalist Wu Blockchain reported that Changpeng Zhao changed his profile on the X platform. The description that previously read “ex-@binance” now simply says @binance, fueling speculation that he is preparing to return to lead the company.
This move occurred at the same time as the end of compliance monitoring imposed by the DoJ since 2023. At that time, Changpeng Zhao resigned and pleaded guilty to violating anti-money laundering laws. As part of the deal, he paid a personal fine of USD 50 million out of a total settlement of USD 4.3 billion.
