🚨 BITCOIN BREAKS ABOVE $80,000 — CAN BTC HOLD THE LEVEL?
Bitcoin has reclaimed the $80,000 mark, putting one of crypto’s most closely watched psychological levels back in focus.
BTC surged above $80K on September 18, reaching around $80,587 in morning trading, while the broader recovery continued into the weekend.
🔎 WHAT’S BEHIND THE MOVE?
• ETF demand returns: U.S. spot Bitcoin ETFs recorded roughly $160M in net inflows on Thursday, reversing two days of outflows.
• Strong rebound: Bitcoin recovered sharply from the mid-$70K area, with recent market data showing BTC briefly moving above $81K.
• Short covering: More than $245M in BTC short positions were reportedly liquidated during the latest rally, adding fuel to the upside move.
📊 KEY LEVELS TO WATCH
Resistance: $81K–$82K
Support: $80K, followed by the $78K–$76K area.
A sustained hold above $80K would keep the recovery structure in focus, while a quick rejection could send BTC back toward lower support zones.
⚠️ IMPORTANT: Breaking $80K does not automatically mean a new sustained uptrend. Bitcoin remains highly sensitive to ETF flows, interest-rate expectations, liquidity and regulatory developments.
