Der Senat stimmt darüber ab, ob überhaupt über das CLARITY Act diskutiert wird – den Gesetzentwurf, der endlich festlegen soll, welche Coins unter US-Recht als Wertpapiere bzw. als Commodities gelten.
Es werden 60 Stimmen benötigt. Die Republikaner haben 53. Einige Demokraten müssen rüberwechseln, und das ist nicht garantiert.
Scheitert diese Abstimmung = Der Gesetzentwurf ist für 2026 tot, voraussichtlich erst bis 2029 (die Midterms fressen den Kalender nach diesem Termin).
Besteht diese Abstimmung = Die Türen öffnen sich für eine echte Debatte, aber es ist noch ein weiter Weg bis zum tatsächlichen Gesetz.
