BlockBeats 消息，10 月 1 日，Pudgy Penguins 母公司 Igloo Inc. 旗下消费级以太坊 L2 Abstract 链昨日出现诸多社区非议。一方面，Pudgy Penguins 创始人 Luca Netz 昨日移除了 X 账号 id 中 Abstract 标识；同期，社区爆料称核心开发者 Cygaar 的关联钱包正将资金从 Abstract 链转出，而 Cygaar 自 2026 年 6 月起 X 账号便进入沉默状态。

今年 8 月，Abstract 链生态负责人（Mason）和产品负责人（0xBeans）已纷纷离职。Abstract 链官方账号也已进入半休眠状态。由此，社区担忧 Abstract 可能即将关停。

Short answer: the desktop app is worth it if you trade often or run multiple charts. If you check prices a few times a week, the browser is fine. Both connect to the same account — nothing is separate.

- Multiple charts side by side without tab switching
- Fewer accidental closes — no stray browser tab getting killed mid-order
- Independent of browser extensions, which matters more than people think: a compromised extension can read what's on your screen
- Faster reconnects on unstable networks

- Nothing to install or update
- Works from any machine you sit down at
- Easier to isolate in a separate profile

◆ Getting the desktop client
Binance publishes separate installers for Windows, macOS and Linux on its official download page. Pick the one matching your OS — an installer for the wrong platform simply won't run.

Download only from the official domain. Desktop installers are a favourite target for repackaging because people inspect them less carefully than phone apps.

1. Enable an authenticator app rather than SMS alone
