BTC Holds $81,200 Support Despite $1B ETF Outflow – Rebound Coming? 👀 Bitcoin closed at $81,378 (-0.1%) after trading in an $80,905–$81,626 range yesterday. ETH sits at $2,400 (-0.8%) with the total crypto market cap down to $2.69T (-0.6%). The real story: US spot BTC & ETH ETFs saw over $1B in net withdrawals this October. The Oct 12–16 window alone dropped -$610M (ETH was the worst hit at -$320M, while BTC saw -$228M). Even a brief $109M BTC inflow on Oct 13 couldn't stop the overall selloff. Why the pressure? The recent CPI print plus the current Fed rate at 3.75–4.00% is triggering a risk-off sentiment. On-chain data shows 1,325 large whale transfers, with deposits ($589M) and withdrawals ($582M) nearly matching—a classic sign of market indecision. • Fear & Greed Index: 55 (Greed is cooling down from 63) • Whale Activity: One notable whale flipped along with $173M in BTC and $77M in ETH, chasing a recovery after a $10M loss last week. My Take: If BTC firmly holds its $80,715 low, a push toward $84K is highly possible. However, a clean break below that support will likely test $79,180. MARKET DIPS 0.7% - FEAR & GREED COOLING TO 55! Should You Worry? 👀
Crypto market cap at $2.84T today - BTC $81,357 (-0.7%), ETH $2,417 (-0.7%).
Why the dip? ✅ US inflation + Fed rate fears ✅ BTC ETFs -$82.39M outflow, ETH ETFs -$69.68M outflow yesterday - institutional exit ✅ Google Willow quantum breakthrough - raising questions on old BTC wallets (not immediate threat)
Bright spots: ✅ TIA +9.08% top mover, Neo soul +269% ✅ Circle targeting 40 new markets with USDC ✅ Charles Schwab launched BTC/ETH trading for 40M users!
Fear & Greed fell from 63 to 55 - still in Greed, just cooling.
My take: BTC testing $81,950-$82,960 resistance, if holds $79,180 support then $85k still possible. Otherwise $79k.
*Graph Idea:* BTC/ETH 24H red candles $81,357 & $2,417, Fear & Greed meter 55, ETF outflow -$82M BTC / -$69M ETH bar chart, small green pump for TIA +9%. Dark TradingView style.
*Bitcoin Dropped Below $80K - $950M Liquidated, What Next?*
Bitcoin just showed why crypto is not for weak hands.
Yesterday BTC fell to $79,730 after US PPI data came hotter than expected at 6.3%. Result? Almost $950 Million in leveraged positions liquidated in 24 hours.
But BTC quickly bounced back to $82,045.
Here is the interesting part: While retail was panicking, Whale wallets holding 10 to 10,000 BTC hit a new all-time high of 20,338 wallets. Whales are accumulating.
Also big news: Charles Schwab just launched direct BTC & ETH trading for its 40M+ clients.
My view: Support is $80,000 - if it holds, $83k then $87k is next. If $80k breaks, we might see $78k.
This is not financial advice, just my analysis. Always DYOR.
