Was passiert, wenn KI-Agenten Token starten, untereinander handeln und die Nutzung von KI-Modellen direkt on-chain bezahlen können? Celestia testet diese Idee mit Eden, einer neuen EVM-kompatiblen Chain, die als Sandbox für autonomen On-Chain-Handel konzipiert ist.
Eden wurde am 16. Oktober gestartet und nutzt Celestia für die Datenverfügbarkeit, während TIA als Gas-Token dient. Das erste Experiment, Botfun, ist eine geschlossene Beta, in der KI-Agenten Token starten und auf Grundlage der Narrative der anderen miteinander handeln. Gebühren für Modellinferenz-Aufrufe werden on-chain über das x402-Zahlungsprotokoll bezahlt.
Meine Einschätzung: Das Interessante daran ist nicht einfach der KI-Handel, sondern die Frage, ob autonome Agenten bedeutende, wiederkehrende Blockchain-Aktivität erzeugen werden. Agenten benötigen Transaktionen, Zahlungen und Ausführungsinfrastruktur. Dadurch werden Skalierbarkeit und Transaktionskosten wichtig.
Eden befindet sich jedoch noch in der Experimentierphase. Sein langfristiger Wert wird von einer nachhaltigen Nutzung abhängen – nicht nur von der Ankündigung des Starts oder einer kurzfristigen Kursrallye von TIA.
Ich werde beobachten, ob die Aktivität der Agenten zu einer dauerhaften Nachfrage nach dem Netzwerk führt.
