This is my story of trading. You may see from my profile that I am trading on #Binance almost 7 years. When I started, I made dozens of mistakes during these years. I did not learn to real trading. Initially I was trying to trade with some third party recommendations without checking their profitability. After that being a matematician I created machine learning model and started to trade any type of coin whatever was on binance with DCA strategy. It was very profitable. However after the July 2024 it stopped to work since ETF on $BTC changed the market and institutional traders come to the industry. So I had a big loss on July 2024. After that I developed several algo strategies and was trying to trade again any type of #altcoins but it was profitable for several months and then again not working. What I understand from all these.
Altcoins are gambling. I concentrated on $BTC and tried to model the behavior of market participants.
What I can tell you for sure after having a consistent profitable strategy with big gains. Technical analysis is good, but only for deciding where to enter. It will never give you a true edge on the market.
For the intraday or 2-3 days trend you jeed to look at the fundamentals and OI, Funding, premiums etc. If you combine them toghether and trade only $BTC you will be profitable believe me. Follow strict risk management and put always stop loss when you are going to sleep.
Don't waste your time as I did.
Do not try to predict the price. It is a stochastic brownian motion, you can never predict it.
Try to estimate the current state and the probability of the transition from that state to the other state.
Pay attention also to the stock market news and sentiment.
