Höherer Verkaufsdruck durch Unternehmen: Ein wichtiger Auslöser für den jüngsten Rücksetzer war eine kürzliche SEC-Offenlegung, wonach MicroStrategy einen bedeutenden Verkauf von 3.588 BTC (mit einem Gegenwert von ungefähr 216 Millionen US-Dollar) durchgeführt hat, um Dividendenauszahlungen zu finanzieren. Da sie weiterhin über beträchtliches Verkaufspotenzial verfügen, behalten Händler genau im Blick, ob weitere Verkäufe bevorstehen.
