I was reading about Dusk again last night and found myself thinking about what really makes a blockchain useful after the technology is already there. 👀 It is easy to get excited about features, partnerships and new infrastructure. But eventually, people have to actually use the network. That is where things get much more interesting to me. Dusk is trying to build around a very specific group of users: financial institutions dealing with regulated assets. The network brings together privacy, controlled access to information and onchain settlement, which are all important when you are dealing with securities and other real world assets. But having those tools is only the starting point. What I want to see next is more real activity around the things Dusk was built for. More issuers using the infrastructure. More financial assets being handled onchain. More applications finding a reason to stay there instead of simply testing the technology. DuskEVM is another part I’m keeping an eye on because it could make the network easier for existing EVM developers to explore. 🔐 For me, that is when the bigger picture starts becoming clear. Not when people talk about what the network could do, but when we can actually see people using it. I’m curious to see how that develops from here. 🤔 @Dusk_Foundation $DUSK #dusk

Dusk is trying to build around a very specific group of users: financial institutions dealing with regulated assets.

I’m curious to see how that develops from here. 🤔

I was going through some Dusk docs earlier and ended up spending more time on one small detail than I expected. 😅 It was the way Dusk handles DUSK transfers. Whether the transfer is public or shielded, they both go through the same Transfer Contract. At first, I honestly thought this was just another technical detail. But the more I looked at it, the more it made sense. When two types of transfers are handled through one main system, there are fewer different paths for developers and auditors to follow. That can make the whole setup easier to understand and keep track of. And for a network that is trying to bring privacy into regulated finance, I think those small design decisions matter. You don’t want the private side of the system feeling like a completely separate world from the normal side. 🔐 Still, I don’t think documentation alone tells us enough. I want to see what happens when more people actually start using it. If the network gets much busier, does this design still feel simple? Can it handle more applications without making things harder to manage? Those are the kinds of questions I find more interesting than just reading another feature list. Dusk has some interesting ideas at the infrastructure level. Now I’m curious to see how those ideas behave in real use. 👀 @Dusk_Foundation $DUSK #dusk
