The longer I looked into Bitcoin, the more I started questioning what actually makes it valuable. Everyone talks about scarcity and digital gold, but the part that kept nagging at me was the network itself. Years of uptime, years of decentralization, years of accumulated trust that no newer chain can just copy overnight. That's not something you can fork.

If that thesis holds, the projects built around securing other networks with Bitcoin could end up mattering just as much as Bitcoin itself.
