$BTC Market Update | Nov 4, 2026
Bitcoin is trading around $78,300 – $78,500, up ~1.7–2% in the last 24 hours after a sharp election-night dip.
What Happened?
US midterm results showed a Democratic sweep of Congress. BTC quickly dropped to a 7-week low near $75,600–$75,700, liquidating ~$288M in longs. Buyers stepped in hard, and we saw a clean V-shaped recovery back above $78k
Recent US spot Bitcoin ETF outflows (hundreds of millions over the last sessions) + risk-off sentiment kept the bounce capped for now.
Key Levels to Watch
Immediate Resistance: $78,600 – $80,000
Next Upside Targets: $82,000 – $85,000
Strong Support Zone: $76,000 – $76,500
Deeper Support: $73,000 – $75,000
Market Bias
Short-term: Bounce is real, but still fighting heavier overhead supply.
Medium-term: Structure remains fragile until we reclaim $80k–$82k with conviction.
Sentiment: Fear zone (Fear & Greed around 34).
Bull case: Hold $76k–$76.5k and break $80k → path opens toward $85k.
Bear case: Daily close below $76k increases risk of a deeper move toward $73k or lower.
Volatility is still elevated post-election. Stay sharp on volume and ETF flows.
