The scheduled 1 billion XRP escrow release from Ripple falls today, 1 November 2026.

The monthly release is split across two escrows of 500 million XRP each. Reaching the date alone does not confirm a transfer or a sale — Ripple must submit an EscrowFinish transaction to complete it.

The context is unusual: on-chain data reported on 29 October showed the two wallets from the 1 October release still holding 500 million XRP each, with no outgoing payment recorded since then.

Over the 12 months to October 2026, about 700 million XRP — around 70% — was typically re-locked each month, leaving about 300 million outside escrow. That is the established pattern, not a confirmed outcome for November.
