DeFi is feeling the Binance hack too. 🔒
Aave has reopened its lending markets after the $6.3B Binance exploit, with nine assets set to zero LTV (CoinOTag), so they can't be used as collateral for new borrowing for now.
Meanwhile $ETH sits near $2,240 and $BTC near $77,300 (CoinOTag). My take: a cautious reopening beats a rushed one, but it shows how fast shocks travel from exchanges into on-chain lending.
Would you trust lending protocols more or less after a week like this? Why?
