XRP has struggled to build momentum above $1.30 despite Santiment reporting that wallets holding at least 10 million tokens now control 46.87 billion XRP, representing approximately 68.5% of the supply tracked by the analytics platform.

According to an October 27 Santiment update, the concentration of $XRP among large holders has reached its highest level since November 2022. The firm described continued accumulation by major wallets even as the cryptocurrency trades well below its September levels.

At the time of reporting, XRP price stood at $1.30, up 0.5% over 24 hours but down 14.74% over the past month. Daily trading volume reached $1.35 billion, with prices ranging between $1.27 and $1.31.

XRP whale holdings rise despite weak market performance

Santiment’s latest figures show that wallets containing at least 10 million XRP have continued accumulating tokens despite the recent price decline. The reported 46.87 billion holdings represent a concentration level the firm has not recorded since November 2022.

However, a rising balance among the largest addresses does not mean every category of whale investor is accumulating. As previously reported on whale activity, the number of wallets holding between 10 million and 100 million XRP recently declined from 351 to 339, while exchange-associated balances increased.

The difference reflects the distinction between the combined holdings of large wallets and the number of addresses within an individual balance category. Exchange custody arrangements and transfers between addresses can influence both measures, making it difficult to determine how much represents fresh investment.

CryptoQuant analyst previously identified rising XRP deposits to biggest exchange, with the monthly average value of whale transfers reaching $112.4 million. Although exchange inflows can precede selling, the metric does not establish that every deposited token was sold.

XRP price analysis shows buyers returning cautiously

On the daily chart, XRP price was trading near $1.30 after repeatedly struggling to maintain a recovery above $1.30. Recent lower highs indicate that the token has yet to reverse its October correction, although some indicators suggest buying demand is improving.

The Chaikin Money Flow indicator climbed to 0.06, moving into positive territory following predominantly negative readings during October. A positive CMF reading indicates buying pressure within the indicator’s measurement period, but it does not guarantee an immediate price recovery.

Meanwhile, Bull Bear Power remained negative at −0.0368, showing that sellers still retain a modest advantage. The difference between the indicators suggests capital inflows are recovering without producing enough momentum to establish a sustained upward trend.

Immediate support lies between $1.28 and $1.30, followed by $1.20 and $1.10. A daily close below $1.28 could expose the lower support levels, while reclaiming $1.35 would improve the prospects of a recovery toward $1.40 and $1.50.
