When the crypto market turns red, one question matters: Which coins are holding up better — and why?

On October 23, Bitcoin and several major altcoins were down, while BNB edged slightly higher, according to a market report.

That difference is worth watching.

But here is what many traders get wrong:

A coin that performs better on one day is not automatically the best coin to buy.

There are three things I would check before getting interested in $BNB — or any other coin showing relative strength.

🔸 1. Is the strength lasting?
One green candle is interesting. Several sessions of resilience are more meaningful.

🔸 2. Is trading activity supporting the move?
A price increase with weak participation may not last.

🔸 3. Is there a real reason?
Look for actual demand, project developments, or market-wide factors — not just social media excitement.

For small investors, this is a useful habit: compare performance before making a decision, and never risk money just because one coin looks stronger than the rest.

BNB could weaken tomorrow. So could the entire market. Relative strength is a clue to investigate, not a guarantee.

Your turn: When the market falls, what do you watch first?

A) Coins holding their price
B) Trading volume
C) Project news and fundamentals

Comment A, B, or C — and explain your reasoning.
