Fellow Binancians,
Binance FZE has introduced a 24-hour cooling-off period for eligible users* making their first AED bank deposits through the supported ADCB bank transfer channel, effective 2026-10-23. Any additional AED deposits made by the same user on the same calendar day as their first deposit will also be subject to the cooling-off period.
This additional precautionary measure builds on Binance's existing security safeguards and reflects our continued commitment to protecting users and providing a secure and reliable trading experience.
Note: *Eligible users refer to new users who have not made any AED bank deposits prior to 2026-10-23.
What Is Changing:
Effective 2026-10-23, a 24-hour cooling-off period will apply to certain AED bank deposits made by eligible users through the supported ADCB bank transfer channel.
During the cooling-off period:
AED deposits: Users can continue making AED bank deposits.
Trading: Funds remain available for trading on Binance FZE.
Withdrawals: Funds subject to the cooling-off period cannot be withdrawn through fiat or cryptocurrency withdrawals.
Transfers to other users: Restricted funds cannot be transferred to other Binance users.
Transfers between personal accounts: Users can continue transferring funds between their own Binance accounts, including Spot, Funding and Earn, subject to applicable product requirements.
The 24-hour cooling-off period begins when the applicable deposit is credited to the user's Binance FZE account.
Only the amount corresponding to each credited deposit will be subject to the cooling-off restriction and temporarily unavailable for withdrawals or transfers to other users during the applicable period.
Once the cooling-off period expires, the applicable restrictions will be lifted, subject to standard security, risk and compliance controls.
Who Will Be Affected:
The cooling-off period applies to certain eligible Binance FZE users making AED bank deposits through the supported ADCB bank transfer channel.
The measure affects users making their first AED bank deposits through this channel.
The applicability of the cooling-off period is determined by Binance's internal security and risk controls.
How Does the Cooling-Off Period Work:
Each deposit subject to the cooling-off period will have its own 24-hour restriction, calculated from the time the funds are credited to your Binance account. As a result, different deposits may become available for withdrawal and user-to-user transfers at different times.
Only the amount corresponding to each credited deposit will be subject to the cooling-off restriction and temporarily unavailable for withdrawals or transfers to other users during the applicable period.
Why Is Binance Introducing This Measure:
Protecting our users and maintaining a secure trading environment remain key priorities for Binance.
The 24-hour cooling-off period serves as an additional precautionary safeguard for eligible users making their first AED bank deposits through the supported ADCB channel. It is designed to provide an extra layer of protection against potential unauthorized transactions, while allowing users to continue accessing Binance's trading services.
Importantly, the measure is designed to maintain access to trading services while introducing additional safeguards around withdrawals and user-to-user transfers.
