🚨JUST IN: US spot Bitcoin ETFs just saw $635.5 MILLION in net outflows, with BlackRock and Fidelity leading the exit.
BlackRock's IBIT shed $254 million, Fidelity's FBTC lost $217 million, ARK's ARKB gave up $109 million and Grayscale's GBTC lost $29.5 million. Together, IBIT and FBTC made up about 74% of the day's outflows. Morgan Stanley's MSBT was the only fund to attract new money, at $2.3 million.
The reversal was sharp. It snapped a three-day inflow streak worth roughly $1.08 billion, including $528 million on Wednesday alone, a one-day swing of more than $1.1 billion. SoSoValue calls it the largest single-day net outflow since June 25. Ether ETFs also lost about $110 million the same day.
Bitcoin slipped to around $81,400 on Friday after failing to hold the $85,000 resistance zone, with roughly $406 million in crypto liquidations. Analysts are now watching $80,000 as key support. The data alone doesn't establish what drove the selling, but the timing lines up with a risk-off session on Wall Street and escalating Gulf tensions.
Despite the dip, the funds still hold about $104.7 billion in net assets, roughly 6.4% of Bitcoin's market cap. October's cumulative flows are now slightly negative, at around -$174 million.
