Kraken can mark a crypto withdrawal “Success” before the receiving exchange credits the deposit.
In Kraken Classic, that status means the transaction has received one blockchain confirmation. The destination may require more confirmations before crediting it. Kraken's existing withdrawal guide explicitly says the overall wait depends on the destination's requirement as well as Kraken's own processing.
“Sending” is an earlier stage: the transaction has been broadcast but is still waiting for a blockchain confirmation.
If the receiving balance hasn't updated, compare the transaction's confirmations with that destination's deposit requirement. Kraken's “Success” label alone doesn't establish that the deposit is ready to trade there.
