Importing the same wallet into MetaMask preserves its address, but doesn't necessarily preserve its smart-account features.
MetaMask's current guide says it supports smart functionality through its own smart contract. If you enabled it through another wallet provider, importing the account alone isn't enough: the account needs to be switched to MetaMask's smart account for those features to work there.
That switch doesn't move your funds or change your address. It is configured per network and requires a transaction with a network fee. Batching and sponsored fees also depend on the network and app you're using; ordinary transactions can still use standard account functionality.
When moving between wallet apps, check the features you rely on separately from the address and balance. Seeing the same account doesn't establish that the same transaction options are available.
