Tesla showcases Roadster with SpaceX thrusters as shares rise in premarket trading

🚀 Tesla demonstrated its next-generation Roadster in Texas on October 15, featuring SpaceX-developed cold-gas thrusters that allow the car to leap and rotate in midair. The company claims acceleration from 0–60 mph in under one second.

📈 Following the event, Reuters reported TSLA rising about 4.4% in premarket trading on October 16, reflecting an initially positive investor response.

🏭 Tesla targets production in 2028 and has yet to announce official pricing. First unveiled in 2017 with deliveries planned for 2020, the vehicle has faced repeated delays.

🔎 The Roadster could strengthen Tesla’s technology image, although expected low sales volumes may limit its financial contribution. Third-quarter results, scheduled for October 21, will offer the next opportunity to assess margins and cash flow.
