LTC is being sold on âETF + halving + DeLoreanâ headlines. Price keeps rejecting anyway.
đ Chart (4H, Binance)
Price: $59.74 (+1.24% on the candle)
Visible low: $58.70
Price broke down out of a tight range and is now trading below it. The range top, $61.24â$62.24, is a marked selling order block.
What the market believes: fixed supply, a spot ETF, the 2027 halving and fresh adoption news mean dips get bought.
What the data shows:
Supply is not the issue. About 78M of 84M LTC are circulating (CoinGecko). No VC, no token sale, no unlock cliffs. The chart is the only signal.
The Oct 9 spot ETF flow was zero, per CoinMarketCap. The âETF demandâ story hasnât shown up in flows.
The next halving is projected for late July 2027. Thatâs about 9 months out, and halvings cut future issuance, not todayâs selling.
$59.74 is still ~85% below the $410 ATH (CoinGecko). Strong narrative, weak follow-through.
The gap: traders are pricing 2027 while the 4H structure is breaking down now.
đŻ Levels
Sell zone: $61.24â$62.24
Entry: $61.26
Invalidation: $63.26
TP1: $58.39 (~1.4R)
TP2: $51.26 (~5R)
Price is ~2.5% below entry, so this is a retest play. No retest, no trade. Iâm not chasing the breakdown.
Bearish while price stays under $62.24. A 4H close above $63.26 breaks the setup, and the thesis flips to a failed breakdown.
