Leverage Out, Spot Buyers In: Solana’s Setup This Week $SOL longs took the hardest hit in today’s flush. Of the $60.41M in SOL liquidations over 24 hours, 94.2% were longs, according to BeInCrypto with CoinGlass data. Across the whole market, $774M was wiped out and 89% of it came from leveraged longs. On the daily chart, the flush pushed SOL down to ~101.8, through the lower Bollinger Band, and buyers brought it back near 106.5 within the same candle. RSI sits around 40, under its own average, so momentum is still weak. The difference now is that a large part of the leverage that was driving the move has been cleared out. Meanwhile, spot buyers keep showing up. Nasdaq-listed DeFi Development added about 22,070 SOL last week and now holds roughly 2.59M SOL. Solana also took back first place in daily tokenized equity trading volume with a 34% share (Altcoin Daily via Benzinga), and Samsung is bringing USDC transfers on Solana to 82M Galaxy devices in the US from late October. Over in my community, I also broke down LINK: the $12 floor against the $13.5 ceiling, with a full strategy script for both sides of the range. bit.ly/4jdykHo On the macro side, Raoul Pal still expects the total crypto market to reach around $10T within 18–24 months, compared with $2.77T today. He also points out that global liquidity isn’t there yet, and tomorrow’s US CPI print could set the tone for the coming days. What I’d like to see from here: 🟢 a daily close back above 110, which would open the way to 113 and the 20-day midline near 116; 🔴 if 100–102 fails on a daily close, I’d rather wait for the 96–98 zone from mid-September before getting interested again. As always, do your own research before making any decisions. Charts and headlines are a starting point, not a substitute for your own work. What would convince you first: a daily close above 110, or a retest of 96–98? #SOL #Macro Insights# #Altcoin Season#
