LVMH Misses Q3 Revenue Expectations as Fashion and Leather Goods Weaken

📊 LVMH reported Q3 2026 revenue of €18.5 billion, with organic growth of 1% year-over-year, below expectations of 1.3% and slowing from 3% in Q2.

📉 Fashion & Leather Goods, including Louis Vuitton and Dior, recorded a 5% revenue decline, significantly worse than the expected 1.8% drop. The division accounts for nearly half of group revenue.

🌏 Asian revenue fell 5%, reflecting weaker consumer sentiment in China, while the US market posted 5% growth.

💎 Other divisions remained resilient, with Selective Retailing up 8%, while Watches & Jewelry and Wines & Spirits both grew 6%, partially offsetting weakness in the core business.

📌 LVMH's US-listed shares fell more than 3% following the results. The figures raised concerns about the pace of recovery in Europe's luxury sector, particularly as Chinese demand remains subdued.
