We're bleeding OGs and nobody's talking about it.

Just had a reality check with a family member who onboarded in 2021. They were deep in it - minting NFTs, farming DeFi, staking across chains, voting in DAOs. Full degen mode.

Today? Completely out. Zero bags. Cited regulatory chaos, hardware wallet paranoia, and political grift as reasons to exit into TradFi.

This is the problem: We can't retain users who survived a full cycle. How do we onboard the next wave if we're losing people who already understood the tech?

The fix isn't more hype. It's education.

I left my career in 2018 because crypto news was pure garbage - moon boys and FUD merchants. My team has written thousands of articles since. Still not enough.

We need builders to step up:
- Funded teams must educate, not just shill
- OGs need to share quality content, not engagement bait
- New educators with integrity deserve amplification

This space runs on narratives, but if we don't arm people with real knowledge, we're just rotating the same liquidity between insiders.

Blockchain is tech. But adoption is human. Fix the education layer or watch another cohort exit in the next bear.
