A trader hit me up: "I'm a new dad, can't stare at charts 4-8 hours, so I swing trade."

After 9+ years in the trenches, I'll say this bluntly:

Swing trading is the WORST strategy when you're time-starved.

Here's why most get this backwards:

Swing trades demand constant monitoring. You're holding through volatility, news events, liquidity shifts. Miss one macro catalyst? You're toast.

Day trading or position trading actually fit tight schedules better. Set your levels, execute, done. Or go long-term, ride the wave, check weekly.

Swing trading? You're stuck in no-man's land. Too long to ignore, too short to relax.

If you're juggling life, pick your lane. Don't let the market pick for you.
