3.32 longs for every short.

That’s a crowded boat. And it’s floating right beneath an unfilled price gap.

The 4H chart shows $ETH bleeding through the 2605–2585 area — a bearish FVG that never got revisited on the way up. Price is now sitting just under it, RSI at 27.58, deep in oversold territory. But oversold doesn’t mean reversal. It means stretched.

The long/short ratio screams complacency. Funding is barely positive — yet three times more traders are leaning long. When a down move doesn’t shake out bulls, the squeeze often comes from the other side.

Price is below both short-term EMAs, and the volume profile’s point of control sits way up at 2699 — most recent buyers are now underwater. That overhead supply is the real resistance.

The line in the sand is around 2638. If $ETH can’t reclaim that zone on a 4H close, the path of least resistance points toward 2480 — where the next cluster of liquidity sits. Lose 2582 and the bearish gap stays open.

Tap $ETH to pull up the chart and see how clean that rejection off the 2605 area really was.

My read: bounce attempts are weak, and until 2638 flips back to support, the shorter-term bias stays tilted down.

Follow me for the update if 2480 gets tested — that’s the level that separates dip from breakdown.
