How does a cross chain swap know what you will receive before execution?

One important piece is RFQ, or Request for Quote.

Instead of simply asking a pool for a price, the system requests a quote for the intended swap.

In Omniston, resolvers provide these quotes and help coordinate the execution across chains.

The basic flow is:

User requests a quote
Resolver provides a quote
User accepts the quoted terms
Cross chain settlement begins

The important idea is that the quote defines the terms of the intended exchange before settlement.

RFQ is therefore not just about finding a price. It is part of how cross chain execution is coordinated.
