📊 Bitcoin Faces the PCE Test — Inflation Data in Focus

Bitcoin is entering another important macro test as the U.S. prepares to release August Core PCE inflation data today.

Core PCE is closely watched because it is one of the Federal Reserve’s key inflation measures. A hotter-than-expected reading could influence expectations around future Fed policy and Treasury yields, while a softer reading could change the market’s rate outlook.

Meanwhile, Bitcoin is trading around the $83K area, while the U.S. 10-year Treasury yield remains near levels last seen around 2007. Higher yields can put additional pressure on risk assets such as crypto.

But there is another interesting signal 👀

🇺🇸 U.S. spot Bitcoin ETFs recorded around $66.2M in net inflows on September 29, extending the positive streak to nine consecutive trading sessions.

So the market currently has two forces in focus:

🔹 Macro pressure from inflation & Treasury yields
🔹 Continued institutional demand through Bitcoin ETFs

⚠️ The PCE release could increase volatility, especially if the result differs significantly from expectations.

The key question:

Will ETF demand absorb the macro pressure, or will inflation data dominate the next Bitcoin move?
