Cross-chain DeFi is becoming one of the areas I’m watching more closely, and Omniston has been putting up some interesting numbers lately.
The latest milestone is hard to ignore:
$7.5M+ in all-time cross-chain swap volume.
That’s more than double the roughly $3M milestone reached earlier this month.
Looking at the most recent week:
→ $1.8M in cross-chain volume from Sept. 17–23
→ 26% increase compared with the previous week
→ BNB Chain → TON represented 78% of the weekly volume
The numbers tell one part of the story.
The other part is the user experience.
Cross-chain activity has traditionally involved multiple steps, different interfaces, bridges, and plenty of things users need to understand before making a move.
Omniston is taking a different approach by connecting liquidity across networks and allowing users to interact with the process through a simpler swap experience.
And that’s what makes the growth interesting to me.
It’s not just about how much volume is being processed.
It’s about whether cross-chain infrastructure can make moving between ecosystems feel increasingly normal.
TON on one side.
Other major networks on the other.
And infrastructure connecting the two.
If adoption continues to expand, the real story may be less about individual swaps and more about how easily liquidity can move between ecosystems.
Still early, but definitely worth watching.
