🇺🇸 The Fed raised rates by 25 BPS to 3.75%–4.00%, with a unanimous 12–0 vote.
And so the message remains clear that Inflation is still too high, so the Fed wants to keep pressure on prices and move inflation back toward its 2% target.
At the same time, the economy is still growing at a solid pace. Spending remains strong, unemployment has barely moved, while productivity and business investment remain solid.
So,
The Fed is still prioritizing PRICE STABILITY, and today’s decision carries a hawkish tone.
