Measured the iPhone Duo's unfolded screen vs iPhone 18 Pro in landscape:
iPhone Duo open: 158 × 111 mm
iPhone 18 Pro horizontal: 145 × 67 mm
For 16:9 content the Duo is only ~1cm wider but 66% taller. Total area is ~80% larger (matches Apple's spec). So you're not getting a dramatically wider cinematic view, you're mostly gaining vertical real estate. The aspect ratio math checks out but the movie-watching advantage is less impressive than it sounds.
