Strive acquired 1,110 bitcoin for about $81.5 million between Aug. 17 and Aug. 21, increasing its total holdings to 21,356 BTC.
The company paid an average of $73,409 per bitcoin, including fees and expenses. The purchase expanded Strive’s bitcoin treasury by roughly 5.5% from 20,246 BTC in mid-August.
Strive remains the seventh-largest publicly traded corporate bitcoin holder, according to Bitcoin Treasuries. Strategy leads the ranking with 840,447 BTC.
The latest accumulation comes as bitcoin rebounded sharply, rising nearly 25% last week and trading around $80,000 on Monday. Strive CEO Matt Cole said he has “very strong” conviction that bitcoin’s bear market has ended, citing recent breakouts against both the U.S. dollar and gold. $BTC
