I stopped recognizing Binance P2P merchants by nickname alone.
honestly... two names can look almost identical while the profiles behind them tell completely different stories.
imagine i see two ads with nearly the same merchant name.
one profile shows 4,800 completed Orders and a 98.6% completion rate.
the other shows 63 Orders and 84.1%.
same-looking name?
maybe.
same counterparty?
i would never assume that.
before opening any Order, i check the actual profile, merchant badge if available, completion rate, transaction history, recent feedback, terms and payment details.
price comes after that.
because saving 70,000 VNĐ on a 35,000,000 VNĐ Order means very little to me if i skipped the identity checks that take twenty seconds.
and once the Order starts, i check again.
does the payment account match the information shown?
does the sender name make sense?
did the instructions suddenly change?
if i am selling, i still open my own banking app and confirm the actual funds before Release.
and if money arrives from a different name, i do not Release simply because the amount is correct.
i pause.
the crypto stays in Escrow while i verify.
i keep the conversation inside Binance P2P, save the Order ID, payment proof and relevant chat history, then use Appeal or contact Binance Support if the mismatch cannot be resolved properly.
my personal rule became pretty simple...
a familiar nickname catches my eye.
a verified transaction history earns my attention.
matching payment information earns my next click.

when two P2P merchants look almost identical at first glance, what detail do you check before anything else?
