I used to think P2P safety started after clicking Buy.

Now I think it starts about 30 seconds earlier.

When buying $USDT, the biggest number on the screen is usually the price. Naturally, that’s where my eyes went first.

But a cheaper offer doesn’t automatically mean a better trade.

Before opening an order, I now look at the merchant’s completed orders, completion rate, payment methods, order limits and trading conditions.

That small habit completely changed how I use Binance P2P.

Because there are actually two prices in every P2P trade:

The price you see.

And the potential cost of choosing the wrong counterparty or an offer that doesn’t fit your transaction.

Saving a tiny amount on the exchange rate means very little if it creates a much bigger problem later.

So my P2P routine has become surprisingly boring:

Check first. Trade second.

And boring is perfectly fine when money is involved.

POLL: What do you check first on P2P?
