🚨 SMALL CAPITAL? STOP TRYING TO TRADE YOUR WAY TO THE MOON. THERE MAY BE A BETTER GAME. 👀

Lately, quite a few friends with smaller accounts have asked me about referral commissions. My advice has been surprisingly simple:

Don’t force trades. Look for low-risk opportunities first.

Here’s why:

1️⃣ SMALL CAPITAL REWARDS OPPORTUNITY, NOT CONSTANT TRADING

With $10,000, generating a 6% return from one opportunity means $600. Find several similar opportunities, and the numbers can add up quickly.

Trying to generate the same 60% through active trading is significantly harder—and usually comes with much greater risk.

2️⃣ FREQUENCY CAN BECOME A TRADER’S BIGGEST ENEMY

Trading has three variables: win rate, risk/reward, and frequency.

You can’t maximize everything simultaneously.

For small accounts, I’d rather focus on high-quality setups and favorable risk/reward while sacrificing frequency.

The dangerous habits are usually the opposite:

❌ Constantly opening positions

❌ Trading out of boredom

❌ Blindly adding leverage

❌ Trying to recover losses immediately

Once those habits become routine, a small account can disappear surprisingly fast.

3️⃣ THE EFFORT ISN’T PROPORTIONAL TO THE CAPITAL

Trading consumes enormous amounts of energy—research, execution, position management, and the psychological pressure of holding risk.

People may see a large profit and think, “That was easy money.”

They don’t see the months of uncertainty and mental pressure behind it.

If your goal is simply to grow capital, the method matters just as much as the effort.

And if you don’t want to chase freebies, look for small opportunities with asymmetric upside. Use small capital to develop research skills, improve reaction speed, and wait for those rare opportunities where the potential reward is much larger than the amount you’re risking.

🔥 Using small to pursue big opportunities makes more sense than using big money to chase big risks.

Working harder in the wrong direction won’t guarantee better results.

Choose the right game first. Then put in the work.
