Why I Prefer Buying Crypto on Binance P2P?
When I buy crypto through P2P, price is not the only thing I care about. I also think about what happens to the asset before it ever reaches my order.
That is one reason I prefer Binance P2P.
Before buying, I still check the seller's profile, recent feedback, completion signals, payment method and ad terms. But what interests me more is that the protection does not begin only after I press Buy.
The seller's crypto is already inside Binance's environment, where KYC, AML controls and transaction monitoring are in place. Suspicious activity can be flagged for review within that environment, including before the balance is used in my P2P order.
For me, that creates an extra filter before I even meet the seller at the transaction layer.
Then escrow adds another layer. Once I place the order, the crypto for that trade is reserved while I make the fiat payment.
I see those two layers differently.
Compliance controls work before and around the trade. They reduce how much asset-origin risk I have to evaluate entirely by myself. Escrow works inside the trade, making sure the crypto is reserved while payment is being completed.
The important shift for me is that Binance is not only matching me with a seller. It is placing that trade inside a monitored environment before escrow even matters.
That changed how I think about P2P safety.
If I buy directly from someone outside a platform, I may have to judge the person, the payment flow and the asset source almost entirely on my own. On Binance P2P, I still have responsibilities, but I am not starting from a completely unfiltered transaction.
Even that, I still use only the payment details shown in the active order, keep communication in P2P Chat, keep my order and payment records.
That is why I prefer buying through Binance P2P. For me, the protection starts before the order exists, then continues with escrow once the trade begins. $TUT
