SpaceX Revenue Beats Estimates in First Earnings as Public Company
SpaceX reported second-quarter revenue of $7.8 billion, exceeding Wall Street’s $6.9 billion forecast in its first earnings release since going public.
The Elon Musk-led company narrowed its net loss to $541 million from $1 billion a year earlier, while adjusted EBITDA nearly tripled to $3.5 billion as its launch, Starlink and AI businesses expanded.
SpaceX retained its entire holding of 18,712 BTC, though the position’s value fell to $1.1 billion at the end of June from $1.64 billion at the end of 2025 amid Bitcoin’s price decline.
Capital spending reached $18.4 billion, well above the $13 billion expected by analysts, reflecting heavy investment in AI infrastructure.
SpaceX shares fell 6% in after-hours trading ahead of an Aug. 6 unlock that will make roughly 912 million shares held by employees and early investors eligible for sale. $BTC
