i keep thinking once my BTC delegation makes a Finality Provider ACTIVE on Babylon Genesis, BTC staking rewards should already be accumulating.

and that sounds obvious until i stare at ACTIVE. active where exactly? active as BTC-derived voting power? active inside the rewarded finality round? active enough for the reward gauge to move?

apparently sitting behind the Finality Provider is not the part Babylon rewards.

the provider still has to sign the Babylon Genesis block hash and submit a valid finality vote that counts beside the other voting Finality Providers.
Der Provider muss jedoch weiterhin den Babylon-Genesis-Block-Hash signieren und eine gültige Finalitätsabstimmung einreichen, die neben den anderen abstimmenden Finality Providern zählt.
