🚨 Cardano Introduces New Token Controls

Cardano has launched its new programmable token standard, CIP-0113, giving issuers more control over regulated digital assets.

The standard allows issuers of stablecoins, tokenized funds and bonds to build rules such as KYC/AML checks, sanctions screening, transfer restrictions, and even freeze or seize functions directly into the token.

This could make Cardano more attractive for regulated financial assets and institutional adoption, as compliance rules can be enforced automatically whenever the token is transferred.

At the same time, these features raise important questions about user control and how much power issuers should have over tokenized assets.
