@sama Sam Altman hat kürzlich verraten, dass er sich absichtlich an TikTok gewöhnt hat, während er recherchierte, wie süchtig machend Apps für Kurzvideos sind.

Laut Altman:

Er begann TikTok zu nutzen, während OpenAI an der Sora-App arbeitete, um zu verstehen, warum Menschen so viel Zeit damit verbringen.
Ursprünglich hatte er geplant, es vor dem Schlafengehen nur 10 Minuten lang zu benutzen, aber daraus wurden schnell 1-Stunden-Sessions, und an einem Samstag scrollte er etwa 3 Stunden.
Er sagte, es habe sich „wie eine Droge“ angefühlt, weil es ihm im Moment Spaß gemacht habe, obwohl er wusste, dass es nicht gut für ihn war.
Schließlich löschte er TikTok komplett und nannte es „zu mächtig“, und er hat gesagt, dass er seine Benachrichtigungen am Telefon ausgeschaltet lässt, um Ablenkungen zu reduzieren.

Also, Sam Altman war nicht dauerhaft süchtig, aber er sagt, dass er sich gezielt in TikTok vertieft, für eine Zeit süchtig geworden ist und die App dann gelöscht hat, nachdem er erkannt hatte, wie überzeugend (und fesselnd) sein Empfehlungssystem ist.
