Thodex交易所是土耳其史上重大的加密货币诈骗案，不仅让近40万用户资产“蒸发”，还推动了当地加密货币监管政策的变革。
1994年出生的法鲁克·法提赫·奥泽尔在2017年创立Thodex交易所，它还是土耳其首家获得美国FinCen MSB许可的全球加密货币交易所，巅峰时拥有约70万客户，24小时交易额曾达5.85亿美元。2021年4月，平台先以遭受网络攻击为由出现交易故障，紧接着在21日彻底关停交易和提款功能，公告称仅暂停4 - 5天，实则是跑路前的拖延手段。
关停平台的同时，奥泽尔卷走约20亿美元加密资产逃往阿尔巴尼亚。土耳其警方随即展开追捕，对平台78名工作人员发出逮捕令，拘留62人，还联合国际刑警组织发出红色通缉令。2022年8月30日，奥泽尔在阿尔巴尼亚被抓获，2023年4月被引渡回土耳其。
2023年9月，法院以组建犯罪组织、严重欺诈等罪名，判处奥泽尔11196年监禁，其兄弟姐妹及公司高管也被判长期监禁。而在2025年11月1日，奥泽尔在土耳其一所高安全级别的监狱牢房中被发现死亡，初步调查指向自杀，相关调查仍在推进中。
该骗局影响近39.1万名客户，Chainalysis后续估算投资者损失或高达26亿美元。此事还直接推动土耳其收紧加密货币监管，不仅禁止加密货币用于支付，修订了反洗钱相关法律，后续还出台资本市场法修正案，新增加密货币许可、报告及消费者保护条款。
