People always want to argue BTC vs ETH like it's a religion. But here's the thing — ETH is actually easier to trade. The technicals are cleaner, the catalysts are more readable, and when you're trying to plan a position, you have something to work with beyond pure sentiment.
And on paper? Safer than BTC. Controversial take but I'll stand on it. ETH has real utility underneath it. BTC is a store of value narrative held together by belief. ETH is infrastructure. BlackRock and JPMorgan are settling tokenized assets on it right now. That's not speculation, that's happening.
Yes the price is down 60% from last year's high. Yes ETF outflows have been rough — five straight months of net negative. But Q1 2026 just printed 200 million transactions on mainnet, a 43% jump from the previous quarter. The network isn't dying. The price is just catching a macro beating along with everything else.
#Osaka fork coming mid-year. Parallel execution, higher gas limits, account abstraction properly live. The roadmap is real and it's moving.
$1,755 is the level to watch on the downside. Lose that and $1,500 becomes the conversation. Hold it and April seasonality might actually mean something — historically ETH averages 18% gains this month.
