Federální rezerva (aka Fed) je v podstatě šéf peněz USA. Ovládá úrokové sazby, tiskne vibrace a rozhoduje, zda se trhy cítí bohatě nebo zničeně. Když je inflace divoká, zvyšují sazby, aby zpomalili věci. Když se ekonomika dusí, snižují sazby — aka *snížení sazeb* — aby podpořili výdaje.
Teď k jádru věci — když Fed snižuje sazby, půjčování peněz je levnější. To znamená, že více peněz proudí do rizikových věcí, jako je kryptoměna. Bitcoin už není jen magické internetové peníze — je součástí velké hry s penězi.
